PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS - PHYSICAL AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS CAREERS

Rehab Connection is a Physical Therapist owned private practice with outpatient offices in five South Jersey communities. In addition, we provide pediatric Occupational and Physical Therapy Services to children throughout South Jersey Schools. Rehab Connection’s team consists of over 30 Physical and Occupational that provide services to clients of all ages in a professional and compassionate manner. Our goal is to provide the absolute best therapy services to our communities and to help our families and neighbors live a pain free, happy and healthy life!

  • Outpatient Physical Therapists: Full- and Part-Time:
    Our clinicians work closely with health care physicians, practice as part of a team and grow as professionals in a family like atmosphere. Therapy is provided to clients of all ages, with orthopedic, sports related, work related and neurological impairments. Some of our specialty areas include Graston technique, Vestibular, Aquatic, FCE, concussion management and pediatric therapies. Our focus is on meeting each patient’s individual needs and taking the most effective steps in meeting their goals and returning them to their normal daily activities.
  • Pediatric School Based Physical and Occupational Therapists:
    Our School therapists provide therapy in the school setting, addressing children’s skill issues that interfere with their educational performance. Areas of intervention include handwriting, organization, fine and gross motor, sensory issues, gait and adaptive equipment needs. Our therapists work along with the school districts child study team members to assess, consult and treat children with the goal of improving their function and independence at school. Our team of over 25 therapists is closely supported by our administrative personnel, supervisors and peers to ensure that ongoing training and skill development is provided. Although therapists are working within different communities, they are treated as a Rehab Connection employee and part of a team.

Requirements:

**Must be licensed as Occupational or Physical Therapist or eligible, in New Jersey
**For School Based, must be School Certified or eligible, in New Jersey.

Volunteer/Observation Opportunities

Providing the best care possible to the people that we serve at Rehab Connection is the result of teamwork between patients, their families, and our staff. The success of this partnership is also made possible through the support of non-employed individuals such as students and volunteers.

Observation/shadowing: An opportunity to observe therapists in a our facility. It is a one-day observational experience.

Volunteering: An opportunity to observe therapists and assist with therapy specific needs on a regularly scheduled basis. Volunteer hours will be determined based on Rehab Connection’s needs and your availability. Volunteers may have the opportunity to:

  • Observe patient care (does not include hands-on experience)
  • Assist with departmental projects
  • Assist with cleaning and organization of equipment
  • Assist therapists with set up/clean up of treatment activities

Volunteer hours may be used to fulfill educational requirements (i.e., hours required for application into therapy specialty).
