Providing the best care possible to the people that we serve at Rehab Connection is the result of teamwork between patients, their families, and our staff. The success of this partnership is also made possible through the support of non-employed individuals such as students and volunteers.
Observation/shadowing: An opportunity to observe therapists in a our facility. It is a one-day observational experience.
Volunteering: An opportunity to observe therapists and assist with therapy specific needs on a regularly scheduled basis. Volunteer hours will be determined based on Rehab Connection’s needs and your availability. Volunteers may have the opportunity to:
- Observe patient care (does not include hands-on experience)
- Assist with departmental projects
- Assist with cleaning and organization of equipment
- Assist therapists with set up/clean up of treatment activities
Volunteer hours may be used to fulfill educational requirements (i.e., hours required for application into therapy specialty).

OT/PT Student Affiliation: Student affiliations require a contract between the school and Rehab Connection.
